This page describes the technical details required for accessing the 44Mobile network.
H.323
configuration
You
should configure your H.323 equipment to send calls directly to our gateway.
Registrations are not required. We will need to know the fixed IP address of your
switch, because we will authenticate your calls by IP address.
You must use both Fast
Start and H.245 Tunnelling.
Codecs
We
support the G.723.1 codec and the G.729 codec (and annexes). All calls you send
should offer one of these codecs, otherwise the call will be rejected.
Fax
We
support fax calls to most destinations. To use our fax service, your equipment must
support T.38 over H.323.
